To help maintain my chastity
They've gone to lengths meticulous
This Belt of Chastity's too much
I think it's all ridiculous!
thats amazing work- on so many levels- i wouldnt know where to start xx
Love binds from the inside out
That is a great painting and very thought provoking. She stares into the night, I rather feel for her. I think she might be saying to us that the touch of the bird in the hand is better than no touch at all. Thx for sharing.
(poem by Therese L. Broderick of Albany, NY, USA)
GIVING HER DAUGHTER THE KEY
I'll be at work when you get back
from the mall. Here's my only key
to the front door. Keep it somewhere
safe, not the pocket of your jeans.
I'll leave on the porch light, the lamp
in the hall. Don't let the cat escape.
Call me when you're in. Be sure
not to force the lock on the knob.
The door won't open if you try
too hard or push too far. Just ease
it in halfway, find the middle niche
that fits. Remember how it was
with your father and me. If only
we had practiced a softer touch,
held open more doors for the other,
he'd be here tonight to let you in.
lovely art......
I think that one of my posts relate to the piece of work very much....
here it is.....

What a sad face she has. That one eye just draws you in. She is bound but can not grasp what will free her. I feel like her sometimes!
Oh Lisa's style is simple amazing and beautiful! Such a wonderful painting. I will have to see more of her work! Thanks for sharing this beautiful piece.
Beautiful work, thank you for sharing.
Why do we wrap ourselves up and tie us up into mummies, are we that scared to love and be loved.
YEs. We do have the keys to open our cage but fear "inter-fears". Let it dissolve and let the light shine IN.
Nancy thanks for turning me on here. This artist is fantastic.
How are you dear friend?
Love Renee xoxo
IN LIGHTNING
My husband is Ben Franklin,
He's really quite a corker
Out earlier in a thunderstorm,
Now I'm drying in this parka
I brought along my little dove,
To keep me company
Cause Benny's such a boring mate,
Obsessed with electricity.
He had this one experiment,
With kites and string and keys,
Now I'm wrapped up in his silly work.
Can someone help me please?
Amazing. The dimensional quality of the painting is extraordinary.
