UNDER PRESSURE

I'm flexing up my muscles,
In a "reach and stretch" display,
What it is I might accomplish,
I just can't rightly say.

But I got this idea some time back,
Watching astronauts in space.
They need a lot of air to breathe,
And not an inch of room to waste.

So what I'm doing here,
Is pressing air into little blocks.
If I can find a way to stack em,
Then I might start selling stocks.

I'm not sure what I am reminded of when I see his face and flexed muscles. He's definitely in the mood. Perhaps he's reciting a poem at a slam poetry. When they recite they put everything into it. It's like he's saying, "Do your hear me people, do you hear me?" It 's definitely an emotional outburst of sorts.
Thx for sharing, have a great weekend. It's beautiful out there.

Very powerful image. I don't know why, but it reminds me of the painting of God reaching out to Adam.

I know it would sound strange, but the image prompted me to write about the common man who is remembered by the politicians only at the time of elections (Here in India, right now we are having the big elections).
The common man who is given power in the form of vote. And such a lovely photo by Marian.
I also visited his site and almost fell for his creativity and art. Great work!!

'Listen, mate, I'm telling ya, I had the whole world, like this, in my hand, ready to squeeze it, ready to rock'n'roll, you know, and suddenly, puff! It was all gone!'

Greetings from London.

There was a little bitty fly
That flew about my head
And though I tried to slap it dead
'Twas only sweat I shed.

He looks like he would be in one of those old Kung Fu movies. It looks like he might be saying something like, THE POWER IS MINE or something cliche like that. I like this photo, it's interesting. Michele
