SUNNY DELIGHT
The rays of light in the Sun at dawn,
My inspiration since the day I was born.
In frequent times of darkness,
There always seems a way,
For the sun to make it through,
And brighten up the day.
We often take for granted,
The wonders of the sun,
And go about our business,
Doing things that must be done.
The blessings of the sun,
Are essential heat and light,
Without them there's no life,
Just a cold and endless night.
So I'll keep on looking skyward,
And follow the sun each day,
Knowing God's up there behind it,
Giving light to show the way.
