Great image! Pulling strings...I could vent for hours on this topic but I won't bore you:) I've learned through the years that no matter how I feel about someone, I will not allow them to "pressure" me into doing something that goes against my nature. I am who I am, and it's silly for me to give in just to appease someone. I simply cut the strings!
I'm not surprised I've got one blue eye and one black eye,says the marionette. What with all the pulling and yanking, I'm lucky I still have my armss.
Dancing while dreaming
of a 'forever' freedom;
puppet's strings pull tight.
A puppet is a simple thing;
Quite easy to control.
But when the crowds are cheering,
It's the puppet they extol.
