"
You’re traveling through another dimension.
A dimension, not only of sight and sound, but of mind.
A journey into a wondrous land whose
boundaries are that
of imagination.
Next stop, the Twilight Zone!"

Got on this train with my eyes closed tight

Didn't know what the journey would bring

Been through so many stations now

Still don't know a thing....

Maybe I'll open my eyes tomorrow

See where I've arrived

Maybe I'll open my eyes in a while

Check if I'm still alive

DO YOU KNOW THE WAY TO...?

A thousand different faces
Pass through these doors each day
A sea of scowls and frowns,
As they hurry on their way.

They jam aboard in numbers,
In their love affair with haste
So many nameless runners
In the mindless human race

"I need to find a better life"
I've often heard some say
They're in a rush to get there,
They just don't know the way.

It's been a long time since I rode on a train. I'm thinking about it though. There is a train called "The Ace Train," and recently they've started going to San Jose. I'd have to catch it in Manteca/Lathrop which is about 1/2 hour away. I just feel like getting on a train, on that Midnight Train To Georgia.:) No, just to San Jose. Take care Nancy.

Lights flow along,
neon rivers pulsing
underneath the cities
constant buzz.
Stops come and go,
new faces mingle with old,
a few sound bytes
squeezing in as echoes
among the hurrying bodies
as resting gazes follow
fleeing taillights
from benches that have
seen the world go by,
watching in quiet
satisfaction.
An intricate piece of music
on repeat dictates
their every move,
a dance between
man and machine.

For your perusal: A subway car.
Length: A little over 60 ft.
Weight: In the neighborhood of 80,000 lbs.
Origin: Unknown.
Motives? Therein hangs the tale.
For just a moment we're going to ask you to shake hands figuratively with a Christopher Columbus from another galaxy and another time.
This is The Twilight Zone.

"Larry, this sounds just like the episode from last week."
"What are you talking about, Martha?"
"You know, the episode from last week. The one with the Kanamits."
"Be quiet you, this one's about a subway..."
