" ..we are the cutest thing on could u(human) kill us.."

*there are a lot of dog-killings happening around the world.just becos they are considered as a pest. too bad. shame on those people. :(

i can only think of this when looking at the teary eye of the dog.

If I were a pug my eyes would look alarming!
They'd be poppy-eyed and they'd be too far apart.
If I were a pug I wouldn't look too charming.
I doubt if I'd ever break a lover's heart.
If I were a pug my flat nose would be spreading
Across my face till it reached from side to side.
I'd look so strange that there'd never be a wedding!
I doubt if I'd ever be a bonny bride!
If I were a pug my legs would be all stubby;
They'd bow in the middle and they'd be too short.
I'd never get the chance to call a sweetie 'hubby',
For men would never give me a second thought.
If I were a pug I'd be all sort of wrinkled,
The skin on my tummy would just droop in folds.
I'd never get the chance to see confetti sprinkled
And you'd never hear me utter the 'have and holds'.
So how is true that a pug gets admiration
For his corrugated forehead and his big fat feet?
From where, I ask, do we get the motivation
To cuddle him and kiss him a declare
How sweet!'?

It should be very obvious,
That I'm quite a handsome dog,
And so it's only natural,
That I'm featured on this blog.

World-known artist, Nancy Medina,
Did my portrait that's shown here.
That brought accolades and praise,
And applause from far and near.

She could have done a beagle,
Or a dachshund or a chow,
But she chose this humble pug,
So I'll stand up and take a bow.

Right now they say I'm homeless,
But I have faith in things to come,
I know some loving folks like you,
Will want to take me home.

I love pugs. Stephanie has a pug and she recently acquired a baby pug. They are very lovable. He looks like a baby content.

PPP (Playful Pug Puppy) seeks PCH (Playful and Caring Human) with or without children for a long-term, committed relationship. I am playful by nature, but am brave when I need to be; I always defend the ones I love from cats and strangers, although bark is worse than my bite. I like long belly scratches and short walks through the neighbourhood. I will warm your pillow every night and will regularly give you an excuse to buy new shoes.

SBP (single brown pug) seeks the company of an older wiser pug. Looking for someone who loves: snorting, sneezing, running in circles and sleeping on the couch when the owners are away. Please call if interested. 1-800-LUV-APUG

Whoever could resist this face? Pets can have such a begging in their eyes - I am not quite sure sometimes whether they do not understand every word we say and everything else!

Warm greetings, Petra
