I don't know anything about Zen so I went for nonsense!

COMPATABILITY!

It really takes another snail
To love that rather slimy tail.
It really takes another worm
To appreciate that special squirm.
It really takes another pug
To appreciate its ugly mug!
And only another porcupine
Can snuggle up to a spiky spine!
It really takes another eel
To feel the way an eel should feel.
It really takes another horse
To want romance to take its course.
It really takes another goat
To want to cuddle and emote.

And it takes someone as odd as you
To love you just the way I do!

"SNAIL NAILED IN SPEED TRAP"

The big slug in the photo,
Is a mollusk traffic cop.
He's nailed a little "hot rod" snail,
And brought him to a stop.

"Where's the fire?" he said,
In a somewhat threatening tone,
"You were going almost three
In a two millimeter per hour zone."

WHY? said...

I don't know why but this makes me cry! It's such a sweet image of a what I'm assuming is a mother and baby slug....whether or not all creatures feel emotions...they deserve to live for they were born just like us. Who determines that humans are better? We do of course. But are we right?

- You're not a slug, you're a snail!
- No, no, my dear, I just borrowed the shell for our first date. In case it rains.

Greetings from London.

Mom, what's down there?
I don't know. Don't get too close to the edge.
