I really haven't got time to write this! Look at the dust in my house!

But your photos nearly always grab me.

As usual, I've gone off at a tangent.

THE MIST OF TIME

The Salisbury Plains lay shrouded,
Neath the brooding mists of time,
An age old source of mystery,
For prose, and myth, and rhyme.

Universal wonders mingle,
In the soil beneath the Tor,
Then Stonehenge and the Druids,
But you were ancient long before.

From Glastonbury to Avalon,
The timeless secrets dwell,
To rise up and embrace me,
With the moon's enchanting spell.

I shed these earthly garments,
Skin alive with fresh sensation,
Without shame, I now run naked,
Through the Pillars of Creation.

The moon at midnight
Sits above the mist like a
Large period in the sky.

I have waited for this moment for a very long time.
To run,,,
with the rising moon by my side.
And listen to the quiet.

readingsully2 - love your take

here's my late entry:
midnight stroll& the first paragraph:

In the midnight hour, I stroll through the streets covered in a thick fog. My legs move in slow drifts, heavy with sleepless dreams. There is no one around, not a single being to stir the silence. An uneasy feeling starts to swirl in my mind. I pause for a moment to listen for anything or anyone. Pricks of icy winds nip at the back of my neck. I turn around only to see a shadow swimming in the fog and then dissipating.
