Mine isn't quite so lovable, bit it's equally wet and watery.

Tweedles -- that's me... said...

Please care about me.
I may be just a frog
but this is my world too.
I like fresh water - like you.
I need green plants.
I want to exist
like you.
You could have been born a frog
like me.
Please care about me.

SPARE RIBBITS AND FRENCH FLIES

Man, I love this weather,
And inch of rain a day.
It keeps me green and slimy,
And quite happy, I might say.

If ya come down to the rain forest,
A visit would be nice;
We can watch the pretty scenery,
And sit and chew some flies.

nothing as athletic as seeing something "leap" through the air... (hello volleyball players!) a frog's jump holds so much "grace"....

Haiku

A tiny green frog
is like a glistening dew
drop on a wet leaf.

The frog is wondering where his pal Kermit is.

WHY? said...

I've been sitting here waiting for my princess to come and kiss me.

Alas, she has forgotten me.

Am I not deserving of love? Am I too slimy for her? Too green?

I shall wait a little longer. Perhaps, her heart will realize that I too deserve to be loved. For what else is life for?

I met a red-eyed tree frog who was living in the trees.
I had a burning question so I stopped to ask her, "Please,
I would really like to know, since you do not live in a pond,
do you have tadpoles like other frogs?" But how could she respond?
She croaked and chirped and stared at me, all bright and photographic,
Then she spoke! She told me to go watch Nash'nul Gee-graphic!
