Ha! This is me during my college days. I guess tax time too. Great artwork. It would make a great cartoon strip.
TRYING TIMES
I've often heard it said,
If at first you don't succeed,
A second try, or maybe three,
Is probably what you need.
With that in mind, and pen in hand,
I set about the chore,
To draw my own self-portrait,
And have it look like Demi Moore.
So try, and try, and try again,
I just can't get it right,
It looked like I had been,
In a knock-down, drag-out fight.
A friend told me I'm no Demi Moore,
She could not have made it clearer,
"Just go into your room,
And take a good look in the mirror"
"Bring your paper, and your pen,
And draw just what you see"
Now I have a pretty portrait,
Of someone who looks like me.
