Must feel awful to be a witness of something bad at that age...I love the mystery of the photo.
I SAW A ................
As I peek inside the doorway,
I'm taken by surprise,
At such a sight before me,
I can't believe my eyes.
The vision I'm perceiving,
I thought I'd never see,
Not ever in a lifetime,
Even if I live to ninety-three.
I've not seen something like it,
Nor in anything I've read,
I simply can't describe it...
So I guess I'll go back to bed.
A grandfather clock tick tocks
as grandmother and I play eye spy
through key holes
between soul patrols.
I swore I never heard the words
swore they'd never find my mind
but between doors ajar and smoking cigars
I became their same.
oh the "backlash" to those who innocently have seen what they weren't supposed to!!!
Daddy, do you really love Mommy?
That's what I heard you say.
You kiss her and hug her, and tell
her you love her.
Then why do you treat her that way?
The little girl
Who saw the crime
Was the one
Who did the time
Too frightened
to divulge the truth
of what she saw
from door ajar
Her guilt presumed
The moment when
Her daddy robbed
The cookie jar
Excellent.Photographic Art of great standards.
