Sometimes when the sky is gray
i say its really blue
and when the drops of tears
run down my face
i say its only dew.
I could hide my face
with my hands
forever
but the feeling
does not go away
and when i feel
the darkness fall
around me like a cage
i know
that all the blue sky
in the world
would not help me
cheer up Tweedles...it's still a bootiful world!
MY HEART NEEDS PATCHING
Sitting sad and sorrowful,
My mood is deep, dark blue,
I'm just so broken hearted,
I don't know what to do.
Toiling all the night and day,
I've worked my fingers to the bone,
Clipping, stitching, stuffing,
Oh, the many hours I've sewn.
So I sent my prized creation,
To the quilting competition,
In hopes of getting first place,
Or at least an honorable mention.
The results came in today,
From the National Quilting Show,
That master quilter BizzyBee,
Has won *@x#* three times in a row!
I cry for you, for you I yearn,
I sit and wait,patiently for your return.
I filled my time and made a quilt,
We both lie here upon the bed you built.
We await the time when we can both cover,
the living body of my soldier lover.
You go to bed
Your mind is dark
Your heart is filled with sorrow
The night seems long
But always ends
You'll have a brighter morrow.
dealing with grief ALWAYS seems to leave you alone!
