Lets Go Fishing

Bent backs bow towards bonafide break waters
brashly beating bewildered barriers,
as lines languish above lymphatic lives
lieing laden and low with life's likeness.
The lightest touch transforming tranquil time
into the topsy-turvy teasing of a tactful tussle,
between natures natural nuance of nerves
and man's natal need for name sake.
Pounds progress up past previous
pulmonary passings and promptly percieve paradise
as one does when departing dexterously
from depression's daring dominion.
Whistle while we work, wondering with held
wisdoms, wanting the weighty winnings
for crowning contempt and capital consumption,
for captivation of curious children.

FIN MEN

An overcast, murky day,
Is normally depressing,
Cold and damp like today,
Can even be distressing.

But sportsmen such as us,
Will go to any length,
To fish on days like this,
You see us out in strength.

Seems that underneath the surface,
The fish don't feel the cold,
But this weather makes em hungry,
And that appetite makes em bold.

So when the fish start biting,
They'll put on quite a show,
But I don't like to eat em,
I always let mine go.

I once had a lover
Who ran out on me
Let 'er go
Let 'er go
Let 'er be

She left with my best friend
Was too blind to see
Let 'em go
Let 'em go
Let 'em be

I walk all alone now
With one simple plea
Let me go
Let me go
Let me be

Tweedles -- that's me said...

The old man
Appeared on the bank
every morning .
He muttered
the same words
over and over.
"live and let live"
