Oh our beautiful Tessa. She is a wonderful spirit who stands by what she believes in.

Nancy, my sister lives here she will be returning from a holiday. When I was diagnosed she quit her job to help me and my family, all of this with having a family of her own.

I also have 4 brothers.

I have thought of letting them all be guest bloggers but if I say the topic is me they will all say I am their favourite and how boring will that get.

Two dozen fish is what we need
to have ourselves an ample feed.

Gonna take a while, at this slow rate
Cause none of us are using bait.

This picture reminds me of my home in Beaufort S.C. it's so beautiful. I long to see Aerial do a children's picture book. She has such a wonderful eye for color and her painting often tell fabulous stories. What a great post.

Angling is one of the greatest recreational activities of all time. Dipping into the great unseen mystery beneath the water's surface and pulling life from it, has implications that go far beyond simply harvesting fish.

My smallest brother found a grub
and put it on his hook
and with it caught a little fish
but one too small to cook

My second brother took that fish
and put it on his line
and with it caught a bigger fish
from in the ocean brine

My third brother took that fish
and put it on his lure
and with it caught a giant fish
but still too small, for sure

My fourth brother took that fish
and tied it through the gills
and with it caught a monstrous fish
so big that you'd get chills

And then I took that monstrous fish
and tied it by the tail
then I heaved it in the ocean
and we all pulled out a whale!

I know you don't believe me
'bout the whale we caught that day
and I'd really like to show you
but the whale got away...
