My darling wife
My darling wife
Collapsed out in the yard
A victim of your tormenters
A victim who's been scarred
My darling wife
My fragile wife
Please rest. I'll fetch a sweater
I'm sorry that your life's so hard
The kids just don't know better

Good one, Michael
HOUSE OF DREAMS (Screams?)
All the days we courted,
she knew I had no dough.
She looked beyond that shortage,
And said she loved me so.
So wedding bells rang out,
A solemn vow exchange.
We're off across the pastures
To our home upon the range.
I hold her now to cross,
The threshold of our dreams,
A house I built in 15 days,
Using old tree trunks as beams.
I thought I'd hear her squeals,
Of joy and delight
But what really kinda gets me
Is she passed out at the sight.
Good Morning Nancy, sending you kisses xxx and hugs ooo for a great day.
Love Renee
You always have such good art and photos. This is good, but my mind is lazy this morning. Have a great day Nancy.
(poem by Therese L. Broderick of Albany, NY, USA)
TWENTY TO LIFE
Strands of DNA, thin
as the innocent waist on
an untouched bride,
prove today that the inmate
never committed any crime.
His two decades spent
behind the tyranny
of prison bars : beholding
such colossal waste of life,
Justice falters, faints.
Ha ha, James! Love it!
Such a beautiful image, and there website is quite grand.
I'm glad you liked their image, Ken. And, they do have a great website and portfolio.
Heathcliff and Cathy, perhaps?
