If I look up

well, it's far too high

so I look straight ahead

one rung at a time

Jeez, of all the things Kathy had to drop down this hell hole for me to get, it had to be the keys to my new Porsche.

Do you remember way back when that frenzy on TV,
When that little kid went missing down a well?
Network cameras everywhere, all trying hard to see,
While the workers dug and dug and dug like hell?

Timmy! Poor, sweet, Timmy! How you made the nation smile
When your little, battered body reemerged
Oh, how you loved the camera lights! That made your trial worthwhile
When that frenzied mass of crazed reporters surged

But thirty years have come and gone since that dramatic day
And never once since then has Tim made news.
I do not think that climbing down a well is quite the same
The media want stories that get views

ENJOY THE RIDE

A journey of a thousand miles.
Begins with just one step.
Things take time, we know it's true,
We know..but can't accept.

Instant gratification
Has today become the rule.
"Don't say I'll have it next week,
I want it now, you fool!"

We weren't born as adults,
Knowing all there is to know.
We started out as children,
Day by day we're meant to grow.

So as you climb the ladder,
In this world so full of strife,
Take your time. Enjoy the ride.
You'll have a better life.

I shed one more piece as I climb up the top
I didn't realize these had to come off for me to reach that freedom
I couldn't make it to the top with all that baggage,
I had to drop
I'm lighter now I can climb higher into my kingdom

I know the flight is worth it.
I've been down in this hell hole too long
time to emerge
and be seen
as I really am.

Hi Nancy, I started using FireFox and it seems to be working okay except that every blog I visit including my own says Install Missing Plugins. I don't want to do that, hopefully IE will come back up or maybe its my computer. Have a great weekend.

Note to self: don't slip naked down a ladder.

A man quite shirtless,
With sweaty muscles rippling
climbs to the bright light.
