For thefirst foot steps of walking out into the snow.
To the end of the pier. Where did I go. For I took upon my wings and lifted up and followed my journey across the water into my make believe world.
He mocked and he scorned us as "chickens" and "nerds".
"Oh, it'll be fine!" were his famous last words.
SNOW...THE SOUND OF SILENCE
The first snow of the season,
To me, is something sweet,
As it falls down around me,
On tiny snowflake feet.
Although the temps are freezing,
I barely feel the cold,
As the wonderland of winter,
Shows its beauty to behold.
And amid this cottony cushion,
Dwells a very special gift,
A silence so astounding,
Hidden in each fluffy drift.
Wrapped in this crystal blanket,
I have pause to contemplate,
The wonders of all creation,
And the secret paths of fate.
