My seams came loose,
I unraveled at the seams,
And then one day
I ended up
on this wooden spool.
The possibilities
are endless
they say,,,
of what
I could become,,,
if someone
had the time
to make me
into something
new
or remake
me
into
who
i was.

Threads are present in
this little tale:

THE TAPESTRY
The fabric of humanity,
Is a cloth of simple thread,
That binds us all together,
Despite which path we're led.
But we're secrets to each other,
Our inner lives are hidden,
A book of open pages,
On which no words are written.
And through that need for privacy,
Our lives are drawn apart,
Ignoring that vital thread,
That should intertwine our heart.
Every life is like a novel,
A story waiting to be read,
That might bring us into unity,
Along that common thread.
If we seek to gain the wisdom,
That each day brings brighter hope,
Then that thread from one another,
Might strengthen into rope.
The seamstress was not known
For her jolly reputation
In fact, she was the very worst of 8itches.
But do not doubt her skill
For in very little time she
Had me rolling on the floor all bound in stitches
Doubled up
I'm strong.
Just test me.
Knotted up
I'm stuck.
Release me.
Loosened up
I'm wound.
Unroll me.
sew long.

I'm red because I was dipped in a dye made up of blood but I can mend a broken patch or fill the hole that has no sole. Let me help with a guided hand bring wholeness to your robe. You can walk now-on without having to cover what was a hole.
